Included in both programs*

Your story starts in your province.

Every China Ties itinerary includes 4-5 dedicated days in your birth province - completely customized around what matters most to you. The Ties team works closely with you to shape what this experience looks like.

● Visit your orphanage (where permitted)

● Locate your finding spot

● Connect with foster family

● Explore your birth city

● Create your own meaningful experience

*Province visits are not included in the standard program fee because each experience is individually planned based on the adoptee’s location, travel needs, requested visits, and goals for the journey. Our team works personally with each adoptee and family throughout this process to coordinate a customized province experience tailored to their story.

“It’s hard to put in words exactly how grateful I am for Ties, and the role the program played in making our family’s journey to China truly remarkable… you can feel and see that everyone involved in the operation cares deeply about their role in helping adoptees explore their roots and process their unique experience! The structure of the program also supports connectivity and community building among the adoptees and within the group of supportive adults… with the guidance of a highly knowledgeable staff person who has their own adoption story.”

—Debra B., adoptive aunt
