• Province Visit

While traveling with China Ties and China Ties Lite, you will have an opportunity to visit the province where you were born. We have had the most success with allotting 3-4 days for this purpose. We will work with individual families on the arrangements, request government permission to visit orphanages, and ask Social Welfare Institute officials if they can locate people and places you wish to see.

Pricing:

Costs to anticipate: transportation to the provincial capital, accommodations for 4 nights, transportation in province to places of importance to your family, guide / translator services, research/fees, and airfare or train fare to Guilin (China Ties Flagship families) to rejoin group.

Provincial costs depend on a variety of factors such as the province visited, length of stay, how far the SWI is located from the provincial capital, whether you overnight in the provincial capital or the city where the SWI is located, and the number of travelers. Fees typically range between $900 - $1400 per person based on the number of travelers and the location of the SWI.
